Dining at The Peninsula Beijing is a delightful experience. The hotel includes two of Beijing’s most sophisticated tables: Jing, a super-sleek, “modern meets Asian” restaurant, ranked as one of the “75 World’s Top New Restaurants” in 2003 by Condé Nast Traveler, and the brand new Huang Ting. Opened in October 2003, it serves exquisite Cantonese cuisine with Beijing specialities in a stylish interpretation of a historic Chinese courtyard. The Lobby Lounge and Bar also offers a superb selection of cocktails, teas, and coffees, and the hotel provides 24-hour Room Service.

Jing :
Connected to the Lobby by a glass-enclosed circular staircase, the super-sleek, contemporary Jing was selected by Condé Nast Traveler as one of the “75 World’s Top New Restaurants” in 2003. The unique “modern meets Asian” environment of the restaurant features three open show kitchens, which combine traditional Western fare with Asian favorites. The modern Asian theme is also reflected in the design of staff uniforms and table settings.

Huang Ting :
Designed as a contemporary interpretation of Beijing’s traditional noble courtyard houses, Huang Ting features gray brick walls taken from original hutongs, slate floors, aged pine floors, beams from a 200-year-old mansion in Suzhou, near Shanghai, and an impressive collection of antiques, most dating from the Qing dynasty (1644-1911). Huang Ting features the finest Cantonese cuisine under a renowned Master Chef and seats 140. There are also four private dining rooms, the largest of which seats up to 25.

The Lobby Lounge :
The Lobby Lounge and Bar offers a superb selection of cocktails, teas, and coffees, including the legendary Peninsula Afternoon Tea, which is served from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm daily, with live music starting at 5:00 pm. The Lobby Lounge and Bar is located adjacent to the international brand name boutiques of The Peninsula Arcade.

The Peninsula Beijing’s largest function and meeting space is The Grand Ballroom. Located on the 2nd floor of the hotel, at the top of the impressive marble staircase, The Grand Ballroom features magnificent, glittering chandeliers and can accommodate up to 600 guests for a cocktail reception and 400 guests seated for a banquet. For smaller events and meetings, The Grand Ballroom can be subdivided into two separate meeting rooms, each offering a capacity of up to 250 people theater style.

The Emerald and Ruby Rooms at The Peninsula Beijing are ideal for mid-sized meetings and events in Beijing. The Emerald meeting room offers 155 sq m / 1,636 sq ft of meeting space and is divisible into two separate function rooms for smaller meetings or events. The Ruby Room measures 119 sq m / 1,280 sq ft and can be divided into three separate meeting rooms for added versatility. Outside the pool area are sun loungers and an indoor landscaped garden, measuring 200 sq m.
